I don't know if this is post-worthy, but I'd like to update.
Since being home from school..
-I've slept in way too many days. First "summer" in awhile
-Got to see my sis and her fam from cali
-Swam with the fam once but succeeded to lose my tan way too fast
-LOVED spending time with my nephews/nieces
-Passed my CNA test (just need to transfer it to Hawaii)
-Went coning
-Got my wisdom teeth out and recovered in ehh 2 hours
-Started working at my old job at good ole Bbucks
-Saw 2 movies in a row on a date (my eyes were going to explode)
-Spent a lot of time with the fam
-Met up with old friends
-Gymmed it up for awhile
-Continued to write Elder Harris every week
-Reunited with my best friends
-Many sleepovers and late night chats
-Went to my friend's baptism and loved seeing her so extremely happy
-Tried Thai food and loved it
-Went to mission farewells. Saw high school friends & realized who I will probably keep in contact with..and not
-Listened to Julie talk about her experience in Ecuador, which increased my obsession to do something of the sort next summer
-Made slideshows for my 3 best friends & reminisced on all of our greaat times
-Read The Peacegiver
-Along with my scriptures every night and relate to them now more than ever before
-And for the grand finale, I love being antisocial. Tonight, I sort of ditched my friends to read and be home. And now blog I guess too.
Basically since being home, I have had a true summer. I have loved this needed break but I am getting excited to go back to Hawaii and experience more of this college thing!

Homebody.
Even though I'm roomless, I am loving being home so much! Especially after spending my summer in Hawaii and meeting the people I did, I have realized how spoiled rotten I am. My parents love each other so much and have raised us kids so well. I'm not kidding when I say they are the best. I hope to one day be able to create as happy of a home with my eternal companion.
It's also been so great to be back with my friendsies. We are as ridiculous as ever and I love them so much.
Yes, I miss the beaches and amazing experiences byuh has to offer, but boy am I glad to be home for awhile.
Just loved this quote- “People see what you do…God sees why you did it.”

Once in a lifetime
I have been slacking again.. And wayyy too much has happened.
(9 DAYS LEFT!)
(9 DAYS LEFT!)
Tahitian dance competition. Got a little taste of the Tahiti culture and it was the coolest dance ever! I recorded it on my phone but it's being difficult and won't upload..
Wet n' Wild HAWAII!
Saw this guy climb a coconut tree..pretty tight
Seen way too many Samoans. Makes me miss Alisa and Braden..
Lots of trips into Waikiki! And sat outside this beastly Forever 21 more than once. Brutal form of torture! Could honestly buy this entire store but I haven't let myself. Yet
I was so used to being around my nieces and other little kids, whereas here there is none and it's quite depressing. Every time I see one I wanna be home playing with my nieces! (And nephews..if only they lived closer..) This cutest little boy though stole my heart. He came up to me at the bus stop one day and kept showing me all of his tricks..
Interesting 4th..
We attempted to bus up to Turtle Bay Resort for their fireworks. After getting there, we walked around the entire resort and the show was nowhere to be found.. Not to mention we hadn't ate in 12 hours so we were all delirious as heck. We gave up after about 15 minutes and bussed back to Kahuku Grill (hmmmhmm so good)
After Kahuku, we were waiting for the next bus.. Me being sooo sick of waiting for busses the last 6 weeks of my life, I decided we were hitch hiking. They thought I was kidding. Anyways, we hitched a ride in the back of a truck and it was a check off my list! (Saved us $2.50!) Definitely an adventure but probably a one time thing..
Hawaii is beautiful, the people are amazing, and I have learned SO much. Being on your own is an experience that has to come sometime and it's taught me a lot. I am so blessed to be here and to have made the friends I have! My testimony has also grown a million times stronger. My Heavenly Father loves me so much and each one of His children. This is the gospel of Jesus Christ and no matter where you go, you can have the comfort and happiness that it brings. Meeting people from literally all around the world, it has definitely opened my eyes. Hearing their backgrounds, conversions, and cultures, I have grown to love this gospel with all my heart. I have grown to love the temple even more as I have been here and have had some amazing experiences there. The firesides here are RIDICULOUS. I was caught off guard the first time because of how strong the spirit is. I thank my Heavenly Father every day that I was given this opportunity and no one should ever pass up an opportunity to come to school here.
Once in a lifetime opportunity for sure.

HOLY smokes.
It's really been 3 weeks?....
Believe it or not, this was taken by my friend while we were swimming with dolphins. Why people pay $120 for a boat tour to jump out in life jackets and "see the dolphins" I really don't know. We snorkeled out from Electric Beach and swam amid them and it was AMAZING!
Out there in our snorkeling attire! Wish I would've bought an underwater camera to capture this entire adventure.
First Father's Day away from home was weird. Lucky me, I got asked to give a talk! Being homesick has been tough enough but planning an entire talk on my dad was torture. Weirdly I didn't bawl my eyes out like I predicted. Us girls decided to make a little postcard for our dads! What a better place then the temple right? I have made some awesome friends out here.
One of my all time favorite things about being here is having our bikes as our mode of transportation. It is too fun. Also FUNNY story. I've grown up in pretty big cities right? We rode the bus into Waikiki to celebrate our friend's birthday and I had like a panic attack. There were TOO many buildings it made me dizzy. The air smelled weird. I felt claustrophobic with all the people, buildings, and stuff going on. Who knew being here for 3 weeks could change my perspective so much?! I think I am in LOVE with small towns now..
Hopefully the rain lets up so we get some beach time today! The weather here is INSANE.
