Just picked this bad boy up for prom

I was planning on borrowing (aka spending $0) but my MOM talked me into looking out in Chandler at this lady's house & lookie what I found. Anyways, it's like my favorite thing ever and I'm very excited to wear it! Sometimes I just really love my mom. Not to mention she's gonna help me with an addition of some cute straps or somethin. She's da besst.

Confession.

Skating is still up there in my worst fears. It freaks me out big time.. I'd rather jump off a building than rollerblade, ice skate, longboard, or basically anything where your feet are not connected. (Ex: I'm okay with wakeboarding & snowboarding. Hello your feet are CONNECTED. Safe. No one gets this logic)

We helped Jamsie answer back to prom by making a rad video at Skateland. Pret-ty legit.

Oh don't mind me! Just pretend I didn't ruin every scence.. I mean not everyone can be as coordinated as I am.

The Message and Conference

Read this. It's definitely worth your time.

It caught my eye amongst our huge collection of books in the weird room and I'm very thankful for that.  It taught me a lot about serving, angels that are in our midst, promptings of the Spirit, and what I believe the world after this will be like.

I definitely gain a lot more from conference after it is out in the Ensign, but as an attempt to change that, I am going to:

1.) Attend the temple weekly

2.) Serve someone each day

This is extremely blurry, but I love these girls.

I can't go to college? What am I thinking.

I'll miss my nieces wayyy too much.

PS. Someone already had my blog title 'Story of my Life' so I switched it up a little.  When I become creative I'll let you know and maybe my blog will be a tad cuter. But for now, bear with me!

I'm pretty darn lucky.

Lucky to even know these cute kiddos.
I've been their "nanny" since I was about 9.  Of course these two weren't born yet.. but there's 3 other cute Candland girls that were.

I've watched him grow up. So fast.

One of my all time favorite memories at the Candland residence is swimming.  Their pool rocks and the kids love it.

We went with all the "older" kids to visit my work after the park.  Great time.  And so delish. I think I may miss some free Bahama Bucks in a couple months..

Anyways, LOVE these kids and this family. They're the greatest second family a girl could ask for.
